Netflix buys the documentary on the life of Kanye West for $30 million<\/h2>\n

For the sum of 30 million<\/strong> dollars, Netflix<\/strong> won the documentary on the life of rapper Kanye West<\/strong>. The docuseries will be the result of the work and collaboration between directors Clarence ‘Coodie’ Simmons<\/strong> and Chike Ozah<\/strong> with TIME Studios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The documentary will retrace the artist’s last 20 years by covering both record successes and personal aspects of Kanye West such as the launch of his fashion clothing line<\/em>, the making of the albums<\/em> and the run for the presidency of the United States<\/em> in 2020.<\/p>\n

The relationship between Clarence Simmons<\/strong> and the rapper will be at the center of the series that will tell the story of Kanye<\/a> from his beginnings as a producer to his rise as a rapper and cultural icon. There will also be room for Donda West<\/strong> and the impact her death has had on Kanye’s life.<\/p>\n

The docuseries will use several original footage<\/strong> and personal, “home” videos made by Kanye West and people close to him, including his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian<\/a>.<\/p>\n
