In February<\/b> on the web you could only hear about him<\/b>, Clubhouse<\/b><\/a>: the vocal<\/b>\u00a0social<\/b>\u00a0of the live streaming<\/b>, launched in March 2020<\/b> by Paul Davison<\/b> and Rohan Seth<\/b>.<\/p>\n What made it explode<\/b> was above all the differentiation<\/b> from other social<\/b> networks<\/b>: so similar<\/b> to a live<\/b>, yet with so much<\/b> in<\/b> common<\/b> with the much loved podcasts<\/b> that you usually hear on Spotify<\/b>, held by great<\/b> experts<\/b> and prominent<\/b> personalities<\/b>.<\/p>\n Influential<\/b> characters<\/b> and VIPs<\/b> were not lacking even on this<\/b> app<\/b>, to which it was in fact possible to access only by invitation<\/b> (making the conversation exclusive<\/b>) and participate<\/b> in the call, chatting<\/b> for a few hours with your favorite<\/b> influencer<\/b> or singer<\/b>.<\/p>\n A great opportunity<\/b> for those who have been able to exploit it: an adequately posed question was able to open stimulating<\/b> debates<\/b> to glimpse a life<\/b> that otherwise would never have been possible to see.<\/b> But also exciting conversations<\/b> with industry experts<\/b>, such as leaders in Economics<\/b>, Marketing<\/b>, Fashion<\/b> and so on.<\/p>\n Yet, already from the end of March<\/b>, it can be said that the hype<\/b> of this social network has dropped incredibly<\/b>, almost no longer talking about him. The decline<\/b> in interest in Italy<\/b> by users is not just an impression<\/b>, but has also been certified<\/b> by Google<\/b> searches<\/b> and Google Trends statistics<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n But what made the new one already stale in just a few months?<\/b><\/p>\n First of all, the general tendency <\/b>to immediately tired of an object<\/b>, content<\/b> or entertainment<\/b> proposal<\/b> in general is an established trend<\/b> in the attitude of our century <\/b>and has certainly not helped the app to remain in vogue <\/b>while trying<\/b> to develop<\/b> and give the public the “full” version of the platform<\/b>.<\/p>\n The problem<\/b> with Clubhouse<\/b> was not having immediately a version capable<\/b> of supporting<\/b> Android<\/b>, an operating system by far more used than Apple<\/b>.<\/p>\n The inability<\/b> to access even from Android<\/b>, if combined with the fact that access<\/b> was only possible by invitation <\/b>and that each room could only be accessed by a limited number<\/b> of<\/b> people<\/b> (which should not exceed 5000<\/b>) explains well how the social network has betrayed<\/b> immediately its own nature of “sociality” <\/b>and inclusion<\/b> to the public.<\/p>\n Not to mention the problems<\/b> due to the lack of control over conversations<\/b>: each conversation could take unpleasant turns<\/b>, without being subject to any system of protection<\/b>\u00a0of<\/b> users<\/b>, just as happens with data<\/b>. The user is not sure where his contacts end up<\/b>, nor how they are treated and protected. On SensorTower<\/b>, in fact, the negative app reviews far outweigh the positive ones<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n The question<\/b> that many are asking is whether it will be able to raise the interest <\/b>of the public when it will be possible to download the application also to Android users:\u00a0<\/b>the latest official statements date back to January 24<\/b>, 2021<\/b>, where the app developers<\/b> already declared themselves working for the Android version<\/b>, but to date no other news has been released, <\/b>even if some rumors date the day at the end of the year<\/b>.\u00a0But, when they too have followed the course of behavior that Apple users have had (the ” beta ” users who have experienced social media), what will become of Clubhouse?<\/b><\/p>\n Without forgetting<\/b> that perhaps the only major obstacle<\/b> to the actual growth<\/b> of this app<\/b> is the contents<\/b>.
