It is for this reason that today we are talking about Gaetano Colucci. Born in 1996, he graduated in management and then embarked on a new project in which to best express his ideal aesthetic imagery, thus founding Ardusse (literary crasis of “arcadia” and “jeunesse”). An enchanted world, a dreamlike place, an ethereal imagination, this is always the perception that one gets when seeing the designer’s creations, a fairy tale in which young children are portrayed in the full splendor of their innocence and purity.

It is enough just to dwell on the latest fw21 collection to notice a poetic seasonal idyll that opens the doors to a bucolic landscape, at times a Dante’s forest in which the warm colors of the garments harmonize with the earthy nuances of the surrounding nature. Voluminous, large and enveloping coats and overcoats, almost as if they were carpets, classic silhouettes with a slight reference to the 40s, long cardigans and shirts adorned with roche, find expression in surfaces in wool, velvets, nylon, flannels and brocades.

“My latest collection was born from a poem I wrote. It deals with the loss of innocence, which, sooner or later, we are forced to face. We lose the light colors of childhood, ivory, pale pink, and we dye ourselves with darker palettes. This is why the silhouettes of the collection play in two directions: volumes and puffed fabrics symbolize the lightness of innocence; thick velvets refer to the heaviness of adulthood. “

A nostalgic vein therefore pervades the entire imagination in contrast with the whiteness of childhood, this is easily explained in the title of the collection: “Chasing innocence in the winter frosts”.
Dear readers, moral of the story? Despite what the fairy tales want us to believe, nothing is eternal in reality, but according to what Gaetano Colucci says, the much desired innocence and youth can still be worn.

______________________

Read also…

Hermès crea la prima handbag in pelle ecosostenibile dai funghi

Dear readers, as you know Wait is always constantly looking for new emerging talents to put under the magnifying glass.
