The Roman Fashion Week<\/strong> organized by Altaroma<\/strong> has just ended. The edition was held from 18th to 20th of February<\/strong> in a specific location such as Cinecitt\u00e0,<\/strong> which made possible the need to transform this winter’s show into real cinema. <\/span><\/p>\n

30 appointments, including talks, catwalks and showrooms have seen 97 participants<\/strong> as emerging brands, talented designers and new talents from Roman fashion schools. The fashion shows were held strictly behind closed doors due to the health emergency, with an essential and dynamic format exclusively on Altaroma Digital Runway<\/strong><\/a> platform. <\/span><\/p>\n

Which are collections’ keywords? Avant-garde, essentiality and sustainability. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Edoardo Gallorini<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The creative vision of Edoardo Gallorini<\/strong> recalls solitary artists, with a tormented soul, who lived the night to find harmony. The twilight with its dark and fascinating colors embraces the lines of clothes, austere, sensual, with androgynous tailored cuts. The dominant color is blue, followed by different shades from cerulean to black, with some vibrant touches of light green and shocking-pink.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dalpaos<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dalpaos<\/a><\/strong>‘ collection, which is designed by its founder Dhruv Kapoor, is a transversal encounter between craftsmanship and innovation. Sustainable materials come from supply chain waste and from deadstock. Interesting is the original proceeds of recycled fabrics with macram\u00e9 or bicolor effects, such as the reuse of leather for small accessories. The atmosphere recalls the need to immerse yourself in nature, to disconnect from metropolitan confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alexandre Blanc<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The french Alexandre Blanc<\/strong><\/a> offers us the image of Parisian woman artist. Confident with her femininity, she is chic and sensual. The silhouette is enhanced by geometric lines and light fabrics, such as cool wool and crepe de chine, neutral and soft colors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gall<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Emerging designer Justin Gall<\/strong> shows us a warrior man, who needs utility clothing to cross and fight, now more than ever, the outside world. The Gall<\/strong> <\/a>man must “find his nest, his safe place” and he needs strong, multi-functional clothing. The aesthetic is also relaxing and comfortable, and thanks to the color palette it creates a dialogue with the Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Francesca Marchisio<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Archival items, eco, organic and waste materials are the heart of the development of Francesca Marchisio<\/strong><\/a>‘s collection and of an innovative 100% sustainable philosophy. Lines emanate energy, dynamism and essentiality. The color palette is varied and mixed, it crosses warm and cold tones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spendthrift<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Marco Cuccagna and Federico Cancelli<\/strong>‘s brand<\/strong><\/a>, which has\u00a0an urban and a little underground soul, challenges the rules of streetwear with oversized cuts and unstructured lines. Manufacture of the clothes focuses on knitwear and comfy fabrics, with a structural originality of the garments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roi du Lac<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Romantic and dreamy and is Poi du Lac’s woman, the brand<\/strong><\/a> created by\u00a0Marco Kinoch and Antea Brugnoni Alliata<\/strong>. Protagonists are the fabrics: floral, jacquard, oriental, animalier. The garments are defined by eccentric colors, that suggest a strong woman who wants to emanate energy towards those who are looking at her.<\/span><\/p>\n
