The Weeknd<\/b><\/a> was the star of yesterday’s Superbowl halftime show<\/strong>, the most famous sporting and pop culture event that the United States gives us every year in early February.<\/p>\n In addition to the success generated by the show, in which The Weeknd<\/strong> sang some of his hits including Blinding Lights<\/em> and Can’t Feel My Face<\/em>, attention was captured above all by his look. Although the headliners of the first half have undergone multiple clothing changes in recent years, The Weeknd wore its Givenchy<\/strong><\/a> suit all the time. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The 55th Super Bowl<\/strong>, which estimated over 100 million spectators<\/strong>, was therefore a media success shared with designer Matthew Williams<\/strong><\/a>, who can be said to have fulfilled the desire expressed after his first collection for Givenchy<\/strong><\/a>: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “I want to create clothes that have emotions and soul, in which you feel the touch of the human hand, not of machines and computers.”<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The ruby crystal jacket, which has now become viral on social media, was in fact hand-made by four embroiderers<\/strong>, who took 250 hours<\/strong> to make it. To complete the outfit, a black cotton poplin shirt<\/strong> and wool trousers<\/strong> accessorized with a black leather tie and gloves<\/strong>, as well as a pair of black and white derbies<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n Below, the designer’s statement:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “It’s truly an honor to have dressed The Weeknd for his incredible Super Bowl show.
