Pantelis Vitaliotis<\/strong>, also known as\u00a0Magneto<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, is a creative director, graphic designer and visual artist who wants to create something with no limits or barriers. A scarf<\/strong> that is now a blouse, top or headpiece. The artist’s graphic background is evident in the way he manages to convey a three-dimensional aspect to the graphics<\/strong> of his creations.<\/p>\n

Each image imprinted on Pantelis silk scarves reveals a microcosm<\/strong> that opens the doors of the subconscious<\/strong> by drawing it in the patterns of the scarves through a variety of shapes<\/strong> and objects constantly connected by linear or circular lines.<\/p>\n

Magneto<\/strong> is a project that manages to break the gap between a work of art and the viewer. Art in this way can be worn thanks to unisex models printed on 100% silk<\/strong>. The production of these true works of art is in Soufli, a traditional silk-working town in northeastern Greece.<\/p>\n

Dai colori<\/strong> che Vitaliotis sceglie per le sue forme<\/strong> geometriche o dalla tridimensionalit\u00e0 delle stampe, tutto ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 rappresentato nelle sciarpe di Magneto<\/strong><\/a> sembra sporgere dalla superficie della seta fino ad entrare nello spazio dello spettatore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La storia di\u00a0Vitaliotis <\/b>inizia nel\u00a01991 in uno studio di arti grafiche per poi continuare nel 1996 a collaborare\u00a0con case discografiche disegnando copertine per CD mentre ricopriva la posizione di Art Director per OZON Magazine<\/strong>.\u00a0Nel 2000 il fotografo Costas Coutayar lo ha scelto come Art Director della rivista VIEW<\/strong>, diventando in seguito il Direttore Creativo di\u00a0Marie Claire<\/strong> e per\u00a0 VOTRE BEAUTE<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From the colors<\/strong> that Vitaliotis chooses for its geometric shapes<\/strong> or the three-dimensionality of the prints, everything represented in\u00a0Magneto<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>‘s scarves seems to protrude from the surface of the silk until it enters the spectator’s space<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vitaliotis<\/strong>‘ story begins in 1991<\/strong> in a graphic arts studio and then continued in 1996 to collaborate with record companies designing CD covers while holding the position of Art Director for OZON Magazine<\/strong>. In 2000, photographer Costas Coutayar chose him as Art Director of VIEW magazine, later becoming the Creative Director of Marie Claire<\/strong> and for VOTRE BEAUTE.<\/p>\n

Who really is Magneto?<\/h2>\n

“Magneto is my favorite childhood hero<\/strong>. His strength did not come from a fit and strong body, but from the power of his mind. This I found very impressive. When I decided to quit working for magazines and to find my new artistic identity,<\/strong> I sat down and decided that I would look at things in a completely different way. ”<\/p>\n
