In fashion it’s sometimes rumored that when a founder of a famous brand like Glenn Martens<\/strong> of Y\/Project,<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0who is called to the creative direction of a historic fashion house, he could find it difficult to lead both brands to success. But this wasn’t the case with Glenn Martens, new creative director of Diesel,<\/strong> who with the latest collection of Y\/Project has upset expectations, choosing fluid, androgynous and deformed sculpture dresses. <\/span><\/p>\n

Having (probably) shorter lead times than usual, Glenn Martens<\/strong> decided not to design items with long tailoring processes of draping, for example, but to choose malleable metal threads threaded into the garments, thus allowing you to create any shape you want. The result? Versatile sculpture-dresses<\/strong> that seem to have just been hit by strong gusts of wind and a dark, gloomy atmosphere with a geometric labyrinth that symbolizes time has stopped. <\/span><\/p>\n

In conclusion, a craftsmanship\u00a0against the current,<\/strong> whether desired or unwanted it will remain a mystery but that’s why we like Y\/Project.<\/span><\/p>\n
