After leaving the fans hanging with the teaser that appeared last August on his Instagram profile, “Champagnepapi” chose the day of his birthday to reveal the two long-awaited news.<\/h2>\n

Rumors of a possible collaboration between Drake<\/strong> and Nike<\/strong> for the merchandising of his next album were already in the air in July.<\/span> Three months later, Drake waited for his 34th birthday to drop two bombs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first: the release date of his next album “Certified Lover Boy”<\/strong> in January 2021;<\/span> the second: the official merchandising of the new project in collaboration with Nike.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The relationship between the two is now consolidated, not surprisingly the video of “Laugh Now Cry Later”<\/strong><\/a>, the first excerpt of “CLB”<\/strong> made available in August, was shot entirely within the Nike World Headquarters<\/strong> in Oregon, the headquarters of the company of Beaverton.<\/p>\n

In the video Drizzy wore exclusively Nike<\/strong> garments, the most attentive eyes were traced back to the upcoming release of an exclusive capsule collection.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, October 24, the Toronto rapper announced the album\u2019s release date with a one-minute teaser trailer on his Instagram profile<\/a>, making visual references to previous releases “Take Care”<\/em>, “Dark Lane Demo Tapes”<\/em> and “Nothing Was The Same”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not over here, two days later he published in a story a direct link that links to an interactive site from which you can access the online shop<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0Opening the link you are catapulted into what could be Drake\u2019s recording studio: mixers, speakers, controllers, a real rock star sofa and of course the pieces of the collection scattered here and there.\u00a0Clicking on the various objects in the studio you can access several pages: OVO Sound, OVO Shop, Better World Fragrance House, El Chico Studios<\/em> and the shop dedicated to “CLB”<\/strong>.\u00a0 In this period where everything becomes digital, the idea of projecting fans into a virtual world is brilliant.<\/span><\/p>\n

The theme of the collection, like that of the interior album, is Love<\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0On each piece, the concept is well evident, t-shirt with theme prints, such as Cupid, sweatshirt with “CLB”<\/strong> coat of arms, baseball hair and socks with the imprint of a lipstick and the strong piece: a bomber jacket whose seams form many hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drizzy\u2019s new collection with Nike<\/strong>, which is said to be “just the beginning” for the partnership of the couple was sold out instantly.<\/p>\n
