“Teenage dreams” is the name of the show co-ed SS 2021\u00a0Raf Simons<\/a>, inspired by some of the great classics of filmography!<\/h2>\n

The models for the SS 2021<\/strong> show by Raf Simons<\/strong> are immersed in a psychedelic and surreal environment, inspired by the atmosphere of the classic English literature “Alice in Wonderland<\/em><\/strong>“.<\/span><\/p>\n

Raf Simons<\/strong> debuted, then, with his first women\u2019s collection, in a virtual fashion show organized outside the calendar of Paris fashion week.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first model emerges from a crack just like the Italian rabbit and plunges into a forest of “surreal” colors…<\/span><\/p>\n

The generation described by Raf Simons<\/strong>, however, is not contemporary, but is inspired by the films that have accompanied him in the past and that continue to inspire his design for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The collection is in fact a celebration of the designer\u2019s style, visibly influenced by the style<\/span> Prada<\/a>, of which he has recently been creative co-director alongside Miuccia Prada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Hair”, “Alien”, “Isolation”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “The Breakfast Club” and “Disorder” are just some of the films that inspired the recurring garments and graphics in the collection.<\/span><\/p>\n

The feminine lines<\/strong> are thin and the skirts<\/strong> are in coloured silk, sleeveless tunics<\/strong> and coloured turtlenecks<\/strong> with monogram prints.<\/span> Oversized sweaters<\/strong> are the same for both men and women and are presented in mustard<\/strong> and eggplant<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Psychedelic prints<\/strong> alternate on the long sleeves over the hands and on the huge hooded ponchos<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The vest<\/strong> is declined in various shapes and serves to create a stratification effect, which gives styling a slightly “shabby” effect.<\/span><\/p>\n

The looks are completed by accessories, such as colored plastic pins<\/strong>, and hairstyles<\/strong> with an English style reminiscent of the early Beatles.<\/span><\/p>\n
