Born in the summer of 2008<\/strong> in Ibiza<\/strong> by Alessandro Forte<\/strong> and Stefano Ottone<\/strong>, GLASSING<\/strong> is a constantly growing Made in Italy<\/strong> eyewear brand.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the beauty and creativity of the island, the first models created by the founders were snapped up to the point of bringing forward a real brand that is now sold in over 1500 stores around the world including La Rinascente in Milan<\/strong>, the Galleries Lafayette in Beijing<\/strong> and City Walk in Dubai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We had the opportunity to have a chat with Stefano Ottone<\/strong>, co-founder of the brand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Hi Stefano, thanks for accepting our invitation. Would you like to briefly introduce yourself and your brand? How did you meet? Did you already work together before GLASSING?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Alessandro and I have been friends since before founding Glassing, we have the same passions in common, after our first seasons in Ibiza we decided to open our first shop in one of the most characteristic streets of the port, we sold vintage glasses and the first GLASSING model. called Ibiza 08, an Aviator shape in fluo colors, sold through vending machines (our utility patent). Then the adventure continued in Italy and now we are what we are a consolidated brand with more than 10 years of activity. “<\/em><\/p>\n

“Research on modeling and color trends, always constantly updated, the dynamic brand but with a very specific identity.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“To believe in what you do, even sometimes making mistakes, but the road is long and you must always have creative stimuli to go forward, also learning to say no.”<\/em><\/p>\n
