H&M<\/a> has made a choice for a more sustainable fashion, introducing Looop: a machine that recycles clothes in the store!<\/h2>\n

The innovation has been inserted, today 12 October<\/strong>, in one of the stores of the fast fashion giant in via Drottninggatan, in Stockholm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looop<\/strong> uses a system that disassembles clothing<\/strong>, washes and shreds its fibres to create thread for a brand new garment.<\/span><\/p>\n

If additional materials are needed for the product, H&M<\/strong> decided to use virgin fabrics from sustainable sources.<\/span><\/p>\n

The entire system seeks to minimise waste of water and chemicals<\/strong><\/em> to have a lower environmental impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Using\u00a0Looop<\/strong> costs 100 SEK<\/strong> for “loyalty” customers and 150 SEK<\/strong> for everyone else.<\/span><\/p>\n

For H&M, this is just a step towards a more sustainable business that shows the brand\u2019s willingness to engage with a burning and current theme.<\/em><\/p>\n
