{"id":131581,"date":"2020-07-30T09:30:11","date_gmt":"2020-07-30T07:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wait-tonight-bar-luce-by-fondazione-prada-in-milan\/"},"modified":"2020-07-30T09:30:11","modified_gmt":"2020-07-30T07:30:11","slug":"wait-tonight-bar-luce-by-fondazione-prada-in-milan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/en\/wait-tonight-bar-luce-by-fondazione-prada-in-milan\/","title":{"rendered":"WAIT TONIGHT: Bar Luce by Fondazione Prada in Milan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-86910 size-full\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/waitfashion-bar-luce-fondazione-prada-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1620\" height=\"1080\" data-id=\"86910\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Here we are back to our weekly appointment\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/tag\/wait-tonight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WAIT TONIGHT<\/a> with the coolest places in Milan!<\/h2>\n<p>More than a &#8220;night&#8221; bar, what we present today is a place to attend during the day: the <strong>Bar Luce<\/strong> by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/fondazione-prada-riapre-a-milano-dal-5-giugno-modalita-di-accesso-orari-e-programmazione\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fondazione Prada<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>A place suitable for true fans of<strong> cinema and art<\/strong>, who love to discover new places.<\/p>\n\n<p><span id=\"s2_1\">The<strong> Bar Luce<\/strong> is definitely a place of great charm, immersed in the artistic context of the <strong>Fondazione Prada<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_2\">It was designed by world-renowned film director<strong> Wes Anderson<\/strong>, such as the<strong> Grand Budapest Hotel<\/strong> and the <strong>Tenembaum<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_3\">And it is the very imprint of an artist like <strong>Wes Anderson<\/strong> that makes the <strong>Bar Luce<\/strong> a magical place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_4\">You will feel immersed in an <strong>old vintage film<\/strong>, written and directed by the director of <em>Moonrise Kingdom&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_5\">Everything from the colors to the uniforms of the waiters, is treated in detail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_6\">The <strong>atmosphere<\/strong> is reminiscent of what was breathed in the <strong>Milanese caf\u00e9s of the &#8217;60s<\/strong>, and it is from there that the inspiration was born.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_1\">As for the furniture: the seats, the formica furniture, the floor, the veneered wooden panels that cover the walls and the chromatic range recall the aesthetics of Italy in those years, which Wes Anderson was inspired by in the 2013 short film <strong>Castello Cavalcanti<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_2\">Two further references to the<strong> Italian Neorealism<\/strong> of the time are the paintings: <em>Miracle in Milan (1951) by Vittorio De Sica and Rocco and his brothers (1960) by Luchino Visconti.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_3\">Another detail, in my opinion delicious, are the pinball machines!<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><strong><span id=\"s2_1\">The menu is vintage too!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_2\">The latter, in fact, is inspired by the oldest sandwich shops in <strong>Milan<\/strong> (and even the best), such as<strong> De Santis<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_3\">The <strong>sandwiches<\/strong> are divided into cold cuts, cooked, raw, salami, bresaola, roast-beef, mortadella, speck, culatello, to which are added porchetta, foie-gras, vegetarian sandwiches and fish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_4\">The <strong>breakfasts<\/strong>, moreover, are delicious and also beautiful to watch and photograph!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you liked this article, have a look at Wait Tonight\u2019s previous date too:\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wait-tonight-gelsomina-a-milano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gelsomina in Milan<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here we are back to our weekly appointment\u00a0WAIT TONIGHT with the coolest places in Milan!
