confides Maria Grazia Chiuri talking about her haute couture collection fall-winter 2020-2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_1\">The video begins at<strong> Dior\u2019s historic headquarters on Avenue Montaigne<\/strong> in Paris where a group of seamstresses is creating the Haute Couture collection on miniature mannequins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_2\">The <strong>couture dresses<\/strong> worn by these small dolls are placed in a princely <strong>trunk<\/strong> (representing the facade of the historic building Dior) and transported by <strong>two Gar\u00e7ons<\/strong> in an enchanted forest&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_3\">The trunk will constitute, for the entire duration of the fashion film, the <strong>mystical object<\/strong>;<\/span> <span id=\"s2_4\">and the characters will look at it with amazement, as if it contained a treasure of inestimable value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-84897 size-full\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/waitfashion-dior-haute-couture-film-matteo-garrone-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"700\" data-id=\"84897\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_1\">And it is indeed so&#8230;the <strong>treasure<\/strong> is the clothes made by hand by the expert seamstresses of <strong>Dior<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_2\"><strong>Maria Grazia Chiuri<\/strong>, in wanting to make clothes of the size of small <strong>poup\u00e9e de mode<\/strong>, was inspired by the <strong>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Mode<\/strong>, an itinerant exhibition that took place in the first post-war period.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_3\">15 designers in 1945 carried around America and Europe their collections, but on smaller mannequins, given the lack of materials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-84917 size-full\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/waitfashion-dior-haute-couture-film-matteo-garrone-2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"700\" data-id=\"84917\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_1\">To inhabit the enchanted forest there are<strong> nymphs, mermaids, fauns<\/strong>, &#8230; a series of characters belonging to <strong>Greek mythology<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"s2_2\">Among these stand out <strong>Philemon and Bauci<\/strong>, the two lovers transformed by Zeus into trees to be able to love each other forever and the beautiful young <strong>Narcissus<\/strong> that is reflected in the crystal clear water of a stream.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF;
