The fashion show Chanel Cruise 2020-2021 <\/em> <\/strong> <\/a>. A global pandemic, instead of the suggestive Capri <\/em>, the parade took place inside the atelier in rue Cambon <\/em>, in Paris <\/em>.<\/p>\n

The faraglioni island, once a landing place for film and show divas such as Sophia Loren <\/em>, Elsa Martinelli <\/em>, Grace Kelly <\/em> and Silvana Mangano <\/em>, comes to life in Paris thanks to a set that tries to imitate its charm.<\/p>\n

“ Balade en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e <\/em> <\/strong>” is inspired by the beachwear style of the 60’s divas with a allure <\/em> free and relaxed on vacation.<\/p>\n

The island in the Gulf of Naples would have been the ideal location as well as the coasts of the French French Riviera <\/em>, instead the French maison had to content itself with recreating the sunset with Vesuvius in the background.<\/p>\n

This sweet Walk in the Mediterranean <\/em> has been immortalized by photographers Karim Sadli, Julien Martinez Leclerc and Bea De Giacomo, under the direction of the artistic director Virginie Viard <\/em>.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the fairytale atmosphere of Capri <\/strong> and the summer freshness <\/strong>, this collection takes us back to the times of Coco Chanel <\/em> with the iconic tailored suit in minimal <\/em> style.<\/p>\n

The sea, the flowers and the luxuriant vegetation are the protagonists together with the textures <\/strong> light and subtle of the transparent lam\u00e9 <\/em>, of the cr\u00eape <\/em> and of the tweed.

The collection<\/h2>\n

The inspiration is palpable from the first outfit. In fact, beachwear garments are at the center of the collection.<\/p>\n

A collection inspired by the past <\/strong>, therefore, and the literal meaning that the “ Cruise <\/em>” had, when they were designed for long periods of vacation.<\/p>\n

The scent of Caprese summer is revealed in light floating dresses with pleated ruffles, bright and tight swimwear <\/em> pieces combined with elegant and candid suits and denim trousers.<\/p>\n

The floating silhouettes <\/strong> are accompanied by cult <\/em> accessories such as sunglasses with visor <\/strong>, and belts worn directly on the skin as jewels.<\/p>\n

Among the items, simple and transformable pieces, conceived for a luxury but travel wardrobe <\/strong>: extremely versatile and easy to wear.<\/p>\n

Long skirts convertible into dresses, long black chiffon jackets over a triangle bikini for the day, combined with an embroidered bandeau top for the evening.<\/p>\n
