Is it the end of the world or the beginning?<\/h2>\n

The world before COVID19 <\/strong> was not that it was so beautiful: hate, violence, inequalities, false values \u200b\u200band false myths. Do we really want to go back to that ‘normal’?<\/p>\n

A naturalized and no longer humanized daily life. Made of thoughts and disorder, trying not to go crazy and not to stop living, loving, fighting for change. Change <\/strong> what? We ourselves, together with the whole world.<\/p>\n

Where to hole up though? Where to find comfort in order to face such a profound and visceral change?<\/p>\n

In the nature<\/em> <\/strong>. The nature of the chirping of the sparrows that populate Milan, of the jellyfish in the canals of Venice, of the crocodiles on the street in Los Angeles and of the foxes and wild boars that go towards the center of deserted cities. The grass grown between the cobblestones of Piazza Navona in Rome.<\/p>\n

The world of Chris Morin-Eitner<\/h2>\n

What I would like to present to you today is a new world <\/strong>. You have certainly imagined it in the last few months, a completely uninhabited world in which nature reclaims its spaces.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

There are artists who have worked for a lifetime carrying out imaginary projects of what the world would be like if the human being became extinct. One of these is the French painter and photographer Chris Morin -Eitner <\/strong> <\/a> who has been asking the same question since 2012: What would cities be like if wild nature took over?<\/p>\n

The project is called \u201cOnce Upon A Time, Tomorrow\u201d <\/em> <\/strong> and represents the great metropolises of the world populated by lions and parrots, as if \u201cat the dawn of the XXI century, following an unknown event, humanity abandoned its capitals “<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The artist’s almost prophetic <\/strong> intuition tells \u201ca sort of rediscovered garden of Eden, full of colors, shapes and poetry, where the hierarchy of straight corners and large empty spaces is replaced by the exuberance of nature, which grows in the most unexpected directions “<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\nAmong the many cities stormed by vegetation and animals, the most suggestive shots are those of the French capital, Paris <\/strong>. The photos date back to 2012 and it was the first city to take part in this project.<\/p>\n

Shots that offer a tropical jungle-style view of the city, from the Arc de Triomphe <\/em> to the Moulin Rouge <\/em> and the La D\u00e9fense <\/em> neighborhood. Only its emblematic monuments still allow us to distinguish the capital of love <\/em>.<\/p>\n
