THE ROMAGNA-BASED SHOE COMPANY DEBUTS WITH THE MEN’S COLLECTION AT PITTI<\/h2>\n

Among the many first times of the 97th edition of Pitti Uomo<\/strong> there is also Sergio Rossi’s male debut<\/strong>. The Romagna-based company, one of the leading brands in the footwear sector since 1951, has decided to accompany the iconic women’s line of men’s models. In reality it is not the first time ever that the maison realizes this line. However in 2015 it had to stop production because it had just been acquired by the Investindustrial fund.<\/p>\n

It is therefore a relaunch, rather than a real novelty. The CEO Riccardo Sciutto<\/strong> said for the occasion: \u00abNow that we have restructured the company and consolidated the women’s offer, we are ready to relaunch the man and we will do it at Pitti, not with a mega collection, but with a series of our iconic products for women, declined in a male key.\u00bb<\/p>\n

In fact, the proposed shoes, such as the now iconic moccasin-slipper, are very aesthetically in line with those dedicated to women. \u00abThe goal is to take three or four models, let’s say three families of products from the female universe, and to reinterpret them with an interesting male connotation.\u00bb<\/p>\n

Sergio Rossi’s male debut is not only in Florence, in that of Pitti. Also on the other side of the world, in Tokyo<\/strong>. In fact, in spring 2019 the company inaugurated its space at the Hankyu Men’s<\/strong> luxury store, in the center of the Japanese capital. Another example of a home of made in Italy accessories appreciated all over the world.<\/p>\n
