Baptista, at least during his stay at Lacoste, interpreted things somewhat more safely, with an elegant and minimal aesthetic. <strong>His assignment to Kenzo will probably be a change, ushering in a very different era<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Although it is well known for his best-selling clothes decorated with<strong> embroidered or painted tigers<\/strong>, as well as for clothes decorated with gigantic &#8220;evil eyes&#8221;, Kenzo remains a relatively small player in terms of revenue and <strong>LVMH hopes that Baptista&#8217;s record for commercial success achieved in Lacoste can make a difference also for Kenzo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-65471 size-full\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/felipe-oliveira-baptista_kenzo-3.jpg\" alt=\"felipe oliveira baptista\" width=\"2144\" height=\"1328\" data-id=\"65471\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/felipeoliveirabaptista\/?hl=en\"><strong>Baptista<\/strong><\/a> will take over from designers <strong>Carol Lim<\/strong> and <strong>Humberto Leon<\/strong>.
