And right there, among the extremely well-kept lemon and shrub trees,<strong> Clare Waight Keller<\/strong> unveiled her proposal on <strong>how the Givenchy man should dress for the spring\/summer 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With this collection, the English designer evokes the cursed poet of &#8220;Les\u00a0Fleurs du Mal&#8221; through <strong>suits<\/strong> made up of <strong>three-button or double-breasted jackets<\/strong>, all with large volumes that marry shades of light-dark creating surfaces whose narrative brings to mind the<strong> gloomy poetry typical of Baudelaire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64992\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/c8ec7ded-87a1-4e83-9584-27bd78dd5a51.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1923\" height=\"1280\" data-id=\"64992\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Gothic calligraphy of<strong><em> &#8216;Fleurs du Mal&#8217;<\/em> <\/strong>is fragmented to compose <strong>abstract prints<\/strong>. But nowadays, we know that every luxury brand must also deal with streetwear and for this collection, Waight Keller&#8217;s approach to this world has been represented through <strong>ultralight Korean fabrics<\/strong> used in parkas that transform any movement in a slow-motion to the Matrix, while the brilliance of the <strong>&#8220;velvet-touch nylon&#8221;<\/strong> (which is exactly what it seems) gives the outerwear a new level of refinement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64993\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/be28124b-5c3d-450d-a2a6-7e3361257353.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1923\" height=\"1280\" data-id=\"64993\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Born in Beauvais and developed among the tapestries of <em>&#8220;La Manufacture des Gobelins&#8221;<\/em>, <strong>Hubert de Givenchy<\/strong>&#8216;s propensity towards baroque splendor is reborn in the archival Italian jaquards on overcoats and trousers that transform themselves leaving behind the<strong> floral motifs<\/strong> to embrace new pixellated shapes.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>extravagance of the technique<\/strong> expressed by the jackets covered by shimmering 90s-style racks, is found in the silver stripes and is emphasized by voluminous crepe scarves giving a casual interpretation of evening wear.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64994\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/54af07b7-3d19-43cf-b061-ebb8c77e1211.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1923\" height=\"1280\" data-id=\"64994\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a balance of performance and elegance, the <strong>accessories<\/strong> combine a wide range of refined and functional details. Classic and industrial motifs intertwine to create chain jewels with baroque-inspired pearls, magnetic closure belts, tote bags and trekking backpacks in leather and jacquard embellished with a jewel closure.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64995\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/https-hypebeast.com-image-2019-06-givenchy-spring-summer-2020-pitti-backstage-12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" data-id=\"64995\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One category that no brand can ignore in 2019 are the<strong> sneakers<\/strong> and even Givenchy lets itself be carried away by this trend, presenting however only <strong>athletic silhouettes<\/strong>, from runners to slip-ons and, curiously, some pairs of <strong>Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66<\/strong>.
