The new ZX4000 running shoes, born from the collaboration between adidas Consortium and Shelflife<\/a>, will be available starting April 20th at a price of \u20ac 149.95 (149,95 $).<\/h6>\n

The proposal, original and innovative, is the result of the very first collaboration of, adidas<\/a>, the “three-band” brand with a South African partner, Shelflife, the undisputed pioneer of streetwear, which – inspired by the fashion and craft tradition of its country<\/strong> – has given life to a version surprising of the classic ZX, infusing it with its flashy approach.<\/p>\n

Seen from outside, the running shoe by Shelflife is distinguished by the discreet use of the luxurious nubuck<\/strong>, declined in shades of gray, and by the fabric base<\/strong> that recalls the legendary craftsmanship of South Africa. Once worn, the shoe reveals a colorful panel with a jacquard print<\/strong> on the middle part.<\/p>\n

The latest proposal co-signed by the adidas Consortium is a world debut that bears witness to the cosmopolitan mentality<\/strong> of the great Consortium family. From the beginning, in fact, Consortium’s commitment consists in bringing together partners, retailers and collectives characterized by a unique and reckless approach to collaborations.<\/p>\n

Each new partnership translates into a creative reinterpretation of the iconic models<\/strong> developed by adidas over the decades: innovative proposals are born, which shed new light on high-performance technologies and on the passion for the production process that distinguish the three-stripe brand.<\/p>\n

Overlooking the market in 2006, the pioneering Shelflife store offers the affectionate South African clientele a carefully selected selection of streetwear and sneakers<\/strong> for innovation and originality. Its stores are located in Johannesburg and Cape Town.<\/p>\n

The same promotional material was conceived and produced in South Africa by local talents Paul Ward<\/strong> (photographer) and Gabrielle Kannemeyer<\/strong> (stylist), further reinforcing the link between one of the most memorable Consortium proposals of the year and the place, the people, the culture that they gave life to the shoe itself.<\/p>\n
