It was a big debut the one of adidas Originals<\/strong><\/a> which, for the first time ever at London Fashion Week<\/strong>, presented a collection in collaboration with the New York designer Ji Won Choi<\/strong><\/a>, earning the official listing on the British Fashion Council<\/strong> calendar.<\/em><\/p>\n

The capsule women\u2019s ready-to-wear collection explores the idea of movement while reimagining iconic adidas Originals three stripes designs through the lens of sport and culture.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi<\/strong> collection celebrates the designer\u2019s Korean heritage with<\/strong> stylistic inspiration and cultural references<\/strong>. Choi adapted her personal design philosophy to the sportswear-inspired line to deliver a fresh touch on the classic tracksuit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Immersed within the expansive Escher styled location, the models wore total-looks in hues of lavender, dark blue, red, green, pink and black<\/strong> all prominently bearing the iconic three stripe design. Originals\u2019 adicolor tracksuit concept was reinterpreted using Ji Won\u2019s unique, signature stripe motif developed for her thesis collection while studying at Parsons School of Design.<\/p>\n

The iconic Originals three stripes<\/strong> take on new meaning, extending off the garments creating a sense of movement, while also functioning as tie closures at the knee of a pant or jacket front. Presenting the tracksuit silhouette in many different variations, adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi<\/strong> highlights contrast: voluminous wide leg pants paired with a sleek, crisp track top or a wide-sleeve take on a track top with elongated straps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Inspired by her visit to adidas headquarters in Germany, Ji Won incorporated more athletic pieces within the collection through bodysuits and swimwear; versatile and perfect for styling. Each look was paired with adidas Originals\u2019 newest women\u2019s footwear concept, Sleek in an added nod to the collection\u2019s ease and versatility.<\/p>\n

adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi<\/strong> was designed to create confidence for the wearer, but with ease; a loud statement through simple clothing.<\/p>\n
