{"id":129429,"date":"2019-01-29T16:19:37","date_gmt":"2019-01-29T14:19:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/zara-has-a-new-logo-graced-or-copied\/"},"modified":"2019-01-29T16:19:37","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T14:19:37","slug":"zara-has-a-new-logo-graced-or-copied","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/en\/zara-has-a-new-logo-graced-or-copied\/","title":{"rendered":"Zara has a new logo&#8230; &#8220;graced&#8221; or copied?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_61386\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-61386\" class=\"wp-image-61386 size-full\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/zara-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"201\" data-id=\"61386\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-61386\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Before and after<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong><span title=\"\">Zara has a new logo.<\/span><\/strong> <span title=\"\">For the second time in its 45-years history, the well-known Spanish clothing brand has unexpectedly replaced its brand &#8211; the word &#8220;ZARA&#8221; with graced letters in small capitals &#8211; with a new <strong>very narrow<\/strong> logo, with almost overlapping letters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">Designed by the <strong>Baron &amp; Baron<\/strong> advertising agency led by <strong>Fabien Baron<\/strong>, the new Inditex retailer logo (in serif font) links the letters of the brand name, adding accentuated curves to the &#8220;Z&#8221; and &#8220;R&#8221;,\u00a0and was designed to accompany the launch of the new Spring\/Summer 2019 campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">A choice <strong>against the current<\/strong>, that of Zara, considered the tendency of most of the logos in the field of fashion (Burberry, Chnel, YSL&#8230;) to comply with the use of characters without graces, a choice which is being discussed.<\/span> <span title=\"\">One of the first criticisms made by designers in recent days, is in fact the considerable <strong>loss of legibility<\/strong> compared to the previous logo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">And you what do you think of this &#8220;restyling&#8221;?
