The artistic director of Dior<\/a><\/strong>, Maria Grazia Chiuri<\/strong>, has recently turned to the Dior archives<\/strong> for the Fall \/ Winter 2018 pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter collection, proposing the iconic Saddle Bag<\/strong> that debuted for the first time in the Spring \/ Summer 2000 fashion show .<\/p>\n

The Saddle Bag<\/strong>, born in fact from the design of John Galliano<\/strong>, former creative director of Dior<\/strong>, and was notoriously interpreted at the time by Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong> in the movie “Sex and the City”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Now the Saddle Bag<\/strong> has been revisited in two models<\/strong>: one with monochromatic leather<\/strong> and the words “Peace, Love Dior”<\/em> inspired by the 70s, while the other model presents an oblique-shaped canvas<\/strong> embellished by hand embroidery with beads and designs bright colors in contrast. The change is also in the iconic bag strap<\/strong> that appears longer, fringed and metal, to be worn over the shoulder or shoulder.<\/p>\n

“I thought this collection would be an opportunity to revive its timeless beauty,”<\/em> said Maria Grazia Chiuri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
