This edition boasts <strong>1,240 brands, 561 of which hail from abroad (45%)<\/strong>, and is a curated geography of spaces focusing on venues that emphasize research in today\u2019s menswear and that are heavily geared towards the future of fashion. <strong>There are projects that interpret the outdoor universe in an original way, redefining lifestyle concepts linked to athleisure and giving space to makers from all over the world<\/strong>. There is<strong> the new wave of talent from Northern Europe<\/strong> and <strong>the creative scene from Eastern Europe<\/strong>, <strong>forward-looking styles marked by cutting-edge design<\/strong>. And one must not overlook <strong>the excellence of the new classic labels and brands relaunching modern sportswear.<\/strong> All this is combined with the unique hospitality provided by Pitti Immagine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"clearfix\">\n<div class=\"schedafunz\">This year the theme is the color expressed in stripes move, sway and cross again and again.<strong> P.O.P Pitti Optical Power will be a visual and virtual spectacle that elicits new horizons of perception and perspectives on reality. <\/strong>As the Pitti Immagine shows do, innovatively, season after season. No black and white austerity in Fortezza da Basso but rather a kaleidoscope of full colour patterns to make living interiors playful and hypnotic. <strong>All this in a set design conceived and curated by life-styler Sergio Colantuoni.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-53800\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/pitti-uomo-94-pop.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" data-id=\"53800\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><em><strong>PITTI 94 HIGHLIGHTS:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"item text paragraph \">\n<div>_\u00a0<strong>Ermenegildo Zegna &#8211; Beachwear<\/strong>\u00a0takes the stage at the independent space, the Cortile del Teatrino, and uses an experimental presentation format;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ this year the Polveriera will be hosting<strong> SEASE<\/strong> \u2013 SEA as in the sea, EASE as in to free, release oneself \u2013\u00a0 the brand from Giacomo and Franco Loro Piana. The menswear brand is aimed at people who cannot separate their passions. Natural fibers become high performance fibers for active wear, sartorial classicality evolves into contemporary informality;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ <strong>Paul&amp;Shark<\/strong> presents Nick Wooster X Paul&amp;Shark, the new collaboration with Nick Wooster, a capsule collection that illustrates the Italian brand seen and interpreted by the eclectic American designer;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ the debut of the new line from<strong> Iceberg<\/strong>, ICE PLAY, linked to the world of street couture, is presented in an independent space;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ <strong>Rossignol <\/strong>presents its SS19 collection inspired by the theme of mobility, from the mountains to the city. The collection consists of two lines: Urban Mobility, designed by Damir Doma and inspired by the world of e-mountain bikes, and Mountain Mobility, for the active mountain lifestyle.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ Basicnet group presents its brands \u2013 <strong>K-Way, Sebago and Superga<\/strong> \u2013 inside a unique area in the Ghiaia Pavilion; its Kappa brand will show at the monumental Corridoio dell&#8217;Arco venue;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_\u00a0<strong>La Martina<\/strong> chooses Pitti Uomo and an exclusive setting inside the Ghiaia Pavilion to present its new course. A stylistic evolution that is an expression of modern living and the new urban culture which is increasingly influencing the world of the Millennials;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ <strong>Band of Outsiders<\/strong> will stage its first presentation as part of the official Pitti Uomo schedule, within The Fortezza da Basso. The presentation will mark Design Director Angelo van Mol and Brand Director Daniel Hettmann\u2019s 4th collection for the label and showcase a collection inspired by a school trip to Italy, with a series of collaborations including Italian sportswear cult label Sergio Tacchini and British eyewear brand Kirk Originals;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Candiani Denim, a special colab is born between Atelier &amp; Repairs and the renowned Italian textile company; the <strong>A&amp;R x Candiani Denim\/ Series 001<\/strong> capsule, launched globally at Pitti Uomo, will be composed by a series of garments using Re-Gen Candiani fabric, a 100% sustainable denim;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ T-Michael \u2013 the designer and artist known for the bespoke quality and innovation of his creations &#8211; presents <strong>\u201c5 Curators\/ one space\u201d<\/strong><b>,<\/b> a visual storytelling project in which five fashion insiders &#8211; <strong>Gerold Brenner, Gianni Fontana, Harris Elliott, Noriaki Moriguchi and T-Michael<\/strong> \u2013 release their creative energy and their passion for classic menswear by illustrating the stylistic ability of a selection of brands\/designers: <em><strong>419 Collective, Garnison, Norwegian Rain, Riedizione, T-Michael, Uru Tokyo, and Y.&amp; Sons<\/strong><\/em>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>_ <strong>Philippe Model Paris<\/strong> chooses Pitti Uomo to showcase its new running project through an exclusive installation at the Fortezza.
