On Tuesday, March 27 Massimo Alba inaugurated its e-commerce<\/strong><\/a>, the protagonist of a website renewed in its aesthetics. Inside the new virtual showcase are the clothes featured in the spring-summer 2018 collections<\/strong>, dedicated to women and men, as well as handkerchiefs<\/strong>, cult objects of the brand, founded in 2006, after years in which the clothing maker has assumed the role of creative director for other companies such as Malo and Ballantyne.<\/p>\n

The main feature of the garments designed by Alba is the quality of the fabrics<\/strong>, as much care is taken in their presentation, both in terms of image and substance: each collection is explained by the same author, recalling his inspirations, thanks to which it is performed, in a second time, the meticulous selection of materials. For example, for the male summer proposals, it is the phrase “We are all the same in our belief – which we keep secret from the rest of the world – to be different from anyone else”, taken from the work Infinite Jest<\/em> by the American writer David Foster Wallace, having moved the entire creative process, which was finally realized through “the velvet 2000 lines, the linen and the linocotone with overlapped lines, the original chambray that I find beautiful and I wanted only in blue”, explains the Milanese designer.<\/p>\n

The launch of the e-boutique is a step forward in the sedimentation of the characteristics related to the brand. The same can be said for the shops<\/strong>, which have now become four: the first, in via Brera 8 in Milan<\/strong>; the one opened in the Capital<\/strong>, at the historic Palazzo Lancellotti in via Coronari 203; in Bellagio<\/strong>, where it takes place in Salita Antonio Mella 16 and, finally, in that of Taormina<\/strong>, in Sicily, inside the Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo in via del Teatro Greco 59. To unite the various locations is the lifestyle<\/strong> proposed by Massimo Alba, in which naturalness is the key word, so much so that the aforementioned lifestyle is not intended, imposed, but rather part of a way of being and existing, reproposed in clothing. It is not by chance that, observing the collections for him and for her, we notice a common path, in which style becomes poetry.<\/p>\n
