No, this is not the most burning news of the last few days that wants Italian Riccardo Tisci as the new creative director of Burberry, but a relationship that has been going on for a long time, to be exact seven years, between <strong>Raf Simons<\/strong>, designer for Calvin Klein, and <strong>Fred Perry<\/strong>, the British house that we all owned, at least once in our lifetime, the iconic polo shirt.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-51941\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/4-570x606.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"606\"><\/p>\n<p>Together they created the <strong>men&#8217;s collection for this spring-summer<\/strong>, moving from contemporary street-style aesthetics, combining it with the more punk, irreverent and linked to sub-cultures. Simons himself, at the launch, tells how the capsule is very in tune with his personal style, the one that saw him emerge in the mid-nineties with the eponymous label: &#8220;When I started out, I focused on youth and subcultures, and Fred Perry was one of my many inspirations. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-51938\" src=\"\/\/www.waitfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/1-570x793.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"793\"><\/p>\n<p>The proposals refer to a <strong>basic wardrobe<\/strong>, with the typical silhouette of the English brand, founded in 1952 by the tennis player Fred Perry, winner three times at Wimbledon, and include: <strong>polo shirts<\/strong>, <strong>t-shirts<\/strong>, <strong>pullovers<\/strong>, <strong>jackets<\/strong>, and slim cut trousers. Very Simons.
