Since a few weeks Wait Order <\/strong><\/a>is proud to have among its designers a new name. Marta Zampolini<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wait team feasts to be faced with one of the most interesting names on the Italian market and not only.<\/p>\n

Marta Zampolini creates two collections, a first line and a sportswear collection with a vanguard touch.<\/p>\n

What we love of his brand is the ability to be very trendy with its black look dark-rock flavor, but at the same time very original thanks to features that sets it apart.<\/p>\n

All of them, in fact, thanks to a clever use of zippers are convertible: change and evolve.<\/p>\n

The courts become long pants, sweatshirts have detachable sleeves, often several details of fashion for women transform the product by simple eccentric and vice-versa<\/p>\n

Hello Marta. Tell us how does your brand strarted. When did you realize that you would become a fashion designer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I do not think I have not yet figured out !! I always say that, but I think I can thank my grandmother, my first great woman. She was a seamstress and made me draw my clothes for parties or ceremonies and together we chose fabrics, matches … is all her doing!<\/p>\n

Then when I went to the IED in Rome I realized I loved staying awake at night to design clothes, create patterns … I think I made the right training!<\/p>\n

Then the passion and the thirst for learning helped … and still help.<\/p>\n

What was the impulse that at one point pushed you to leave for Berlin?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You know a caged animal … like an eagle (the true symbol of freedom) … .I felt so good. Stifled, limited, closed, with the “brain related.” I had already taken a big step when I moved to Rome for six years … but when I went to Berlin … I breathed the air of true freedom. I was already working in Italy for a company is very important and I had a permanent contract … I lived in my house … everything was perfect. A beautiful cage … but always that was a cage.<\/p>\n

In Berlin I was not limited in anything … I was just accepted for who I am … both in the world of work and in private life.<\/p>\n

It ‘a strong adrenaline rush to a small town girl like me.<\/p>\n

Before leaving for Berlin you had already\u00a0<\/strong>an employment contract in Germany? Or did you do a leap in the dark?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I left without support or contract work, I just wanted to fulfill a dream and win a bet with my father long ago. I did not know how, I had a project in mind but only a goal.<\/p>\n

Berlin introduced me to the right people with whom to work, which in turn presented me with other people ……… ..that city is crazy! Every morning it’s always different, you can not plan anything … things happen! And then you always know so many people.<\/p>\n

Tell us how the idea was born that marks you, one of the garments with zip thats transforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was during a trip (the Berlin-Rome), I got the idea. Nobody believes … but I swear not until then I had never thought of a convertible clothing. I was flying around me and there were people who dressed and undressed for temperature changes.<\/p>\n

There was a woman in a suit that \u00a0put the jacket on the legs from the cold, a girl was wearing the vest, but it was a matter of woven scarf at the waist … so while I was there that I watched thinking to various difficulties, the trip , travelers and their luggage … that’s the idea.<\/p>\n

Clothes convertible for travelers and also for those leaving in the morning and have to go to work with a certain style, but then goes with friends to have a drink and can not go to change. In a single chapter you have more outfits. Think of all the travelers who start at a cool and come in a warm place … sweatshirts, pants, jackets, bags. The brand Zampolini makes you dress with a sweatshirt that becomes a tee-sleeved shirt, long pants that become shorts, with pockets everywhere where to put passports, telephone or various boarding passes. You have everything at hand in a “flash”) to wear this “technical” and travel we have added the refined style and fashion that distinguishes us Italians in the world.<\/p>\n

In the collection you find on Black FW1516 Wait Order there is another strong mainstay of the brand … black.<\/p>\n

The SS16 collection is ready! it was a race against time because the commitments increase and I always carve out my space to draw. To my manager tailoring time ago I presented with an arm designed because I had no paper and certain ideas or jot down immediately or goodbye !!<\/p>\n

I was at the gate (always in flight!) I had the bag, and had all things in hand: passport, telephone, handkerchiefs … what a mess! The hostess looked at me in despair … and there I thought of when I go skiing, to my jacket with pockets on the arms to put him skipss. I get on the flight I sit down, I ask for a pen and I drew the sweatshirt with the sleeves \/ pocket … there are two zip on the elbows that opening them come out of these two pockets with beautiful fancy “colored” (event) … and you put all there, you do not need anything! Or for example, the vest bag changeable …………;) Well I would not say more right ?!<\/p>\n

But yes, there will be a bit ‘of color … even if in the tests to take off defects my modeller and my seamstress \u00a0look at the joke is always the same “but that collection is FW or SS?”<\/p>\n

So here, as often happens everyone criticize me\u00a0but as always do not give a damn.<\/p>\n

What s your favorite designer, in the sense that you love to wear, and which is the one (or those) who influenced your work the most.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The designers who influenced me the most is Galliano. When I was at Dior went crazy.<\/p>\n

He, an ‘artist so modern, was carrying on a such historic Maison.<\/p>\n

Do you realize the significant difficulties which had? That is, the risk that if you mess up you are put on the guillotine! It is not a new fashion house is the history of fashion. The difficulties are many and you are always in the spotlight, you’re not only a designer, there you are THE DESIGNER \u00a0and to support such work is so important you had to create a character. Fate has it that growing up I started to love and wear Margiela and Yamamoto … they make art.<\/p>\n

Imagine when I found out that Galliano was the new “hand” of Margiela … I will never cease to thank Renzo Rosso, the choice was never more right.<\/p>\n

What about John Galliano. What influenced you from John?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Galliano have always been criticized and thanks to him, but I have learned to create me a character! Nobody knows who I really am, no one understands my weakness, I just think I’m a weird girl who dresses in black and often responds with the middle finger raised. There is much more behind … but no matter, people need to appreciate and prove to me to know in my collections.<\/p>\n

Where you are currently on sale your collections? In Italy or abroad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shops, in addition to the two big online SuperFly Deluxe<\/strong><\/a> and Business Brand<\/strong><\/a>, we have them in Alexandria, San Teodoro, Ibizia, Foligno, Spoleto, Rome soon and we are trying to open our first store “mobile and transformable”! Stay tuned;)
