Every so often here at Wait, we think we see right. And if we see \u00a0right also this time, we are faced with a new all-Italian streetwear brand (made \u200b\u200bin Italy) that can have its own say. For this we insert in our section ‘new brand alert’ dedicated to the new brand to keep attention.<\/p>\n

It’s called \u00a0Asphalt Accademy Apparel\u00a0<\/a> and exits from the head of one of our old and esteemed knowledge: Francesco Paura Curci , musician, rapper, DJ (recently released his second solo album Slow Food, but we also talk about Videomind accompanied by Clementino and Tayone) and designer, who carries out this work for over twenty years with excellent results to see the beautiful sites who designed (but also the covers of his records and graphics).<\/p>\n

Design and fashion, as we know, often travel close, but Francesco had never faced the field until, one day, taking advantage of a period a little ‘dead’, he begins to draw this line, without even thinking about how he can produce.<\/p>\n

The case does meet with Fabio Festa founder of \u00a0DenimBank S.r.l.<\/a>, with an important history in the field behind: it was former manager of ITTIERRE SpA, in the division of the \u00a0denim and today lends advice to many Italian fashion companies and foreign companies. In the past he has worked for brands such as Versace, Galliano, Just Cavalli, and Ext\u00e8 “Acht”, just to name a few.<\/p>\n

Fabio falls in love with the project of Francesco and became a partner and distributor of the brand with its DenimBank srl.<\/p>\n

The brand has hit us particularly because it focuses on minimalist lines, as well as graphical displays that are stylish and very clean. A different and more evolved to cope with the streetwear far from bold and excessive graphics and shouted\u00a0slogans.<\/p>\n

Other \u00a0important details are cuts, selected materials starting from soft Egyptian cotton worked in Italy and a collection of accessories and jewelry products for Asphalt by master Pietro Ferrante.<\/p>\n
