In fact, on every<\/b> occasion<\/b>, whether it is social<\/b> or television<\/b>, Dua Lipa always manages<\/b> to upset us and also for the release of the music video of We’re Good<\/a> <\/b>(the new single of the singer, taken from the album Future Nostalgia<\/b>) we would like to tell you that expectations were not disappointed at all.<\/b><\/p>\n

The video<\/b> is a slightly<\/b> modernized<\/b> simulation<\/b> of a piano<\/b> bar<\/b>: in an “old-fashioned” restaurant<\/b> (complete with a classic aquarium with live crustaceans on display<\/b> and ready to be eaten by the first buyer), a piano bar is offered with background music and voice of a splendid singer<\/b>, who in this case could only be the beautiful Dua.<\/p>\n

It is only at the end of the video clip<\/b> that we discover that the restaurant is above the fateful Titanic<\/b>: a metaphor<\/b> for the fact that the ship is sinking <\/b>as the relationship<\/b>\u00a0of which Lipa sings is sinking.<\/p>\n

With a different styling operation<\/b>, the outfits in the video adapt perfectly to the context<\/b>, faithfully capturing not only the historical aspect <\/b>of the situation, but also the world of film culture.<\/b><\/p>\n

Posocco<\/b>, the stylist who took care of the costumes of the music video, gave a new life and a new use to the clothes from the Prada archive<\/b>, designed by Miuccia Prada <\/b>and Catherine Martin for the film “The Great Gatsby” <\/a><\/b>by Baz Luhrmann,\u00a0<\/b>published in 2013<\/b> and inspired by the famous novel of the same name written by F. Scott Fitzgerald.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the film<\/b>, as also in the video<\/b> by Dua Lipa, the atmosphere is that of the Roaring Twenties<\/b> and what better clothes than the costumes<\/b> of one of the most gorgeous films<\/b> of recent years?<\/p>\n

Sequins<\/b>, crystals<\/b> \u00a0(typical of low-rise 1920s dresses<\/b>) are embroidered on glittering silk dresses<\/b> and mixed with fabrics and precious stones,<\/b> such as velvets<\/b> and furs<\/b>, emeralds<\/b>, jade stones<\/b>, topazes<\/b> and gold<\/b> tips .<\/p>\n

The white perforated geometric pattern dress <\/b>that Dua Lipa wears is a dress from Prada’s SS 2010 show<\/b> and is the usual dress that made billions of women dream by staring at the beautiful Daisy in Baz Luhrmann’s film<\/b>!<\/p>\n
