It had been a dream in the drawer for many years.<\/strong><\/em>
\n Being able to bring Wait Fashion to China.<\/strong> Or rather, create the new edition of Wait Fashion Magazine in China, to create a bridge between two cultures<\/strong>: the Asian and the Western one and to connect them in a way that the best of fashion, art and sensitivities could talk and grow together.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

For many years it seemed like a dream: because these goal needed the right person. A person almost impossible to find<\/strong>. A person with many characteristics: Chinese roots but who had lived and known the European culture<\/strong>. A person who was determined and concrete to achieve an ambitious goal<\/strong> but who at the same time was first of all in love of what we do: art, fashion and contemporary culture: a person not only interested in business but also in the human, artistic part of Wait Fashion.<\/em>
\n A person with a deep knowledge and sensibility of fashion.<\/strong><\/em>
\n Too many features for one person: the one who could have undertaken this project.<\/em><\/p>\n

Instead, one day, when I didn’t expect it, we met her: she is called Kai (obviously her nick name) and she is the person who will bring Wait Fashion to China.<\/em><\/p>\n

She is very young but determined and she is such a multifaceted and original character that we decided to interview her and introduce her to Italian and European audience.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hi Kai: first of all welcome to the Wait Fashion family!. Are you ready for this new adventure?<\/strong>
\nYes, I’m honoured and thrilled to be a part of this adventure.<\/p>\n

Tell us about your training. When the love for fashion was born and when you decided it would become your job?<\/strong>
\nBack when I was just a child I was influenced by my grandpa. I remember sneakily changing into my mum\u2019s clothes and venture out on the street for a catwalk. When I turned 18,I disregarded my family’s opposition ,went to Beijing alone and dived into my beloved fashion industry.<\/p>\n

Stylist, fashion designer, painter, artist. Which of these terms defines you best?<\/strong>
\nI think labels are limitations. I love them equally and I would like to be seen as versatile by this industry as well.<\/p>\n

Tell us about your background as a make-up artist: I know that you have a team of your own, and that you work for important shows also for Chinese TV. Tell us what the strength of your team is.<\/strong>
\nWe communicate. We cooperate. And We conquer. We just perform so well together we have that magnetic chemistry like a true family.<\/p>\n
