In the setting of the Scandinavian Manifesto at Pitti, Leftover presented “Removed”, a collection made entirely from recycled fabrics.
Leftover, emerging menswear brand, was founded in 2016 by Klaus Samsøe who, after working for 25 years in the textile recycling sector, decided to base his fashion idea on the principles of a totally circular economy.
In fact, each Leftover item is made with high quality recycled and pre-processed fabrics supplied exclusively by the DFD group, a leading company in the Scandinavian industrial laundry sector.
Here is how the bed linen, as well as the professional aprons, are transformed through Klaus’s creativity, in a cutting-edge streetwear fashion with a totally eco-friendly soul made up of fabrics with no-toxic substances, but above all, resistant to more than 100 washes.
The SS2020 collection
The new SS2020 collection nicknamed “Removed” exposed at Pitti Uomo 96, presents a streetwear character that does not renounce to the classic Scandinavian aesthetic characterized by clean cuts and an abundance of neutral colors such as white and black, interrupted by some pieces in blue denim.
With this collection, the waiter’s or nurse’s uniform live a new life in the fashion field, evolving into a military-style shirt with interchangeable patches. The buttons applied to the back make it possible to apply your favorite print.
To complete the offer, denim sweatshirts with zip, braided fabric bibs and shorts with patches.
