Timberland x Raeburn: here unveiled the new FW 2019 collection

Always engaged in the field of sustainability, with this new collaboration Timberland brings his commitment to an even higher level together with the emerging brand Raeburn, underlining the mutual commitment to eco-friendly fashion.

The Timberland x Raeburn collection ranges from footwear to the apparel, up to a series of accessories: all the pieces are made with organic and recycled materials, including ReBOTL ™, so that the collection helps to counteract the abundance of plastic present in landfills and in the oceans of the world. The ReBOTL ™ material, owned by Timberland, is in fact composed of at least 40% recycled plastic!

Inspired by the previous creations of the British designer Raeburn, whose philosophy is based on the three values of REMADE, REDUCED and RECYCLED, the collection uses a geometric color blocking of a few utilitarian shades of color such as red, gray, black and olive green. The details are unique, such as the particular black band marked “Timberland x Raeburn” used as a lace, stitching cover or zipper hook, giving a bold and contemporary mood to the garments.

Some top pieces have already created a lot of hype, like the Weatherbreaker Waterproof Jacket or Fleece Backpack, and the Brooklyn Fabric Mid Hiker for the men’s collection and the Delphiville Fabric Mid Hiker for the women’s collection.

The Timberland x Raeburn is a broader partnership than one might think since Christoper Raeburn was named Global Creative Director after presenting his collection at Pitti Uomo 95. The designer founded his own brand with the responsible and intelligent design, thanks to the ethics of “remade” that allows the reworking of fabrics and excess clothing to create unique and functional pieces, which then become a spokesman for luxury craftsmanship as well as practical utility, perfectly in line with the authentic and deep heritage of Timberland.
