The new NIKE AIR MAX NIPPON PACK present two models of the 90s inspired by the Japanese flag!
The Air Max Tailwing 5 and the Air Max Triax 96 are a revival of the nineties and Nike offers them in a white-red polka dot version, just like the flag of Japan.
The choice of Japan is not casual but wants to honor the Olympic Games that this year were to be held in Tokyo, but unfortunately were canceled because of the COVID-19.
The “rising sun” is represented on the entire upper of both models, which however have subtle differences.
For example, on the Tailwing 5 we find the inscription Nippon in gold on the back of the heel, while the heel of the Triax 96 has another small reproduction of the Japanese flag.
The release date is not yet certain, but we expect to see them soon on the site of Nike.com!
