Taking inspiration from the mythical creatures of Scotland, for the 30th anniversary of the N9000, Diadora and Hanon Shop create a new shoe.
They therefore present a brand new interpretation of the iconic Diadora silhouette but this time inspired by the legend of the Picts, an ancient tribe of Scotland. It is no coincidence that the sneaker is colored blue. These mythical creatures were thought to paint themselves this color during warfare to appear more ferocious in the eyes of the enemy. But let’s get to the heart of the shoe. This time the HANON N9000 “Pictish Warrior” presents on the upper an application in smooth nappa with a soft textured leather in contrast with a hard suede. Just taking into consideration the inspiration from which all Diadora and Hanon Shop starts, they decide to apply the Beast of the Picts to the side stripe of the sneaker. Attention to detail is evident from the Pictish Beast, the Flame logo embroidered on the heels and a laminated leather insole with double branding, while the logos of both brands are embroidered on the tongue.
The HANON x Diadora N9000 “Pictish Warrior” is offered via an online Raffle which began Friday 9 July and ends Friday 16 July. Each pair will come complete with four sets of branded tissue paper, personalized tag and a custom-made box. Being strictly a limited edition, what are you waiting for to buy it?
