The jewelry brand that recalls the tribes of the past through amulets with a bitter taste.
To understand the origin of the name, Angostura is a bitter invented in 1824 by the military doctor Johann Siegert, and which became famous all over the world thanks to the sailors who brought a bottle with it, from port to port. The concentrate is obtained from the infusion of cloves, gentian root, cardamom, bitter orange extract and cinchona, creating a 44.7% alcoholic mixture. Nowadays, it has become a key ingredient for many cocktails.
Born in Rome in 2014, the Angostura jewelery brand gives character to each creation, and to the wearer. This is why the designer Giulia Tavani has decided to instill a touch of bitterness in her jewelry, since without the latter there can be no sweet side.
The silver, bronze and precious and semi-precious stones used to create the innovative shapes of its jewels take the sparkling concept of jewelry to another level, making it more pragmatic and real. The attention to detail is evident in every creation, characterized by innovative designs never seen before.
There is also a sense of nostalgia of the past, linked to indefinite tribes and ancient eras.
The jewels thus become handmade talismans that emerge from the past by choosing their owner, not letting themselves be chosen. Each jewel is unique and each imperfection makes it so, carrying the wearer on an intense spiritual journey.
