Supreme collaborates with South2 West8 for spring 2021.
Founded in 2003, South2 West8 is a Japanese brand specializing in fishing gear, which places a special emphasis on Tenkara, a popular fly fishing method in Hokkaido.
Translated into “From the sky” or “From Heaven“, Tenkara stands out for its simple and intuitive approach; South2 West8 approaches this historical practice by offering technical and modern garments, not common in the world of fishing.
For this collaboration, the duo presented a wide range of functional clothing, which includes convertible garments such as trousers and jackets, fleece, long-sleeved shirts with prints, a selection of hats, coordinated bags and an ever-present Tenkara fishing rod. The colorful items show a barbed wire graphic that is also presented in the tie-dye version, in some cases layered with a thin organza fabric to give volume to the garment without being heavy.
The Supreme x South2 West8 Spring 2021 collaboration will see a global release on April 22 at 12:00 on the official Supreme website.
