For the “Store of the week” column, this time we are in Friuli to introduce you the reality of the Arteni group.
The Arteni group has been operating in the fashion field since 1961 and, for over 50 years, the Friulian family has managed as many as 12 stores, making use of the valuable experience of various collaborators.
Everything started when, Gianni Arteni, encouraged by his sister Nella, a dressmaker and stylist, opened a small shop selling textiles, manufacture and haberdashery items in Feletto Umberto, a town just outside Udine. Over the years, this store has been transformed and expanded to become a landmark still present.
The 1980s saw the transformation of the family company into a holding, with the opening of Arteni2 Casa e Sport in Tavagnacco, counting on the strength of 250 employees. At the helm, alongside Gianni, is his wife Adriana, his brother Sergio with his wife Luciana, along with the second generation Cristina, Tiziana and Matteo.
The name Arteni also supports the main sports clubs in the area and organizes fashion shows presented by famous personalities from the entertainment world such as Mike Bongiorno, Corrado and Milli Carlucci.
Finally, the 2000s saw the opening of other stores and the expansion of the main Arteni store in Tavagnacco, with a current surface area of 20,000 square meters, 200 collaborators including buyers, sales people, seamstresses and warehouse workers.
Fashion, the search for detail and Italian tailoring, cornerstones of Arteni’s reality, are also offered through the online shopping channel divided into two websites: www.arteni.it and www.be-unique.it.
On Arteni.it you can find over 300 brands including fashion for men, women, children, home and sport. Instead, BeUnique Fashion store covers a selection of the most select clothing and accessories, reflecting the taste and style of a single boutique, located in the heart of Cividale.
Not just fashion. To satisfy the customer in its most complete need, the group also embraces the design field by offering a vast quantity of objects and furnishings for the home.
Milan, Paris, Florence, London, Berlin and Amsterdam are just some of the destinations where the buyers go to select the trend pieces of each season.
The designers dealt with range from Armani and Trussardi to brands like Puma, Levi’s and K-way able to satisfy all style requirements from the most classic to the most sporty.
