EVENT THE U.S.A. BRAND THINKS ON THE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE 2019 AUTUMN-WINTER CLOTHING COLLECTION
Respect Nature, Timberland could not have been clearer in its intent. In fact, on the occasion of the launch of the autumn-winter 2019 campaign, the US company has decided to focus everything on innovation and that which defines eco-awareness.
This is a new collection of outerwear, created to be ready for all the calamities that the season has begun means: snow, cold, rain and wind. Even more important is the commitment to nature. It takes the form of using recycled plastic bottles. In doing so, they are prevented from ending up in landfills. Or in the oceans, as we all know.
Attention to the environment does not mean low quality in terms of performance. Rather. The new alternative materials offer the same performance as the down. In fact they have the same consistency, they heat like the feather and, in many ways, they are even better, since they are hygienic, hypoallergenic, breathable, machine washable and 100% sustainable.
TRENDY DESIGN FOR THE PROPOSED MODELS
Despite the variety of models proposed in the Respect Nature collection, Timberland manages to give a single imprint in terms of design. Sophisticated and cool. That’s why Therma Range, Neo Summit and Nordic Edge satisfy all tastes and meet every need. For example, to protect your smartphone in a special pocket on the sleeve.
In particular, Therma Range is suitable for the city. The technology, in fact, is that of a ski jacket reinterpreted for the city thanks to a minimal tone-in-tone style. Neo Summit makes you think of the highest peaks. The WARMER PRIMALOFT padding, composed of fiber feathers, makes it weatherproof making it the first real alternative to goose down against cold and rain. Finally Rordic Edge is the perfect combination of urban-inspired details and purely functional technology. Designed to protect from the most rigid temperatures, this parka is equipped with Thermore Ecodown padding in recycled fibers from PET bottles. The strictly synthetic fur hood is detachable.
