MILAN HOSTS THE FIRST MADE IN ITALY EVENT DEDICATED TO THE URBAN CULTURE EXPERIENCE
It’s called PLUG-MI and it is the first occasion that Milan has to host all together the most famous and interesting brands of the so-called urban culture. At Fieramilanocity, from 5 to 6 October, the culture of the metropolis – cities that allow you to see without being seen and to be seen without seeing, to quote the French film critic Serge Daney – will be the protagonist of the event, from every point of view.
Music, art, sport and fashion will be one. In particular the last two categories, represented by iconic brands like Nike, Puma and Adidas. But not only. Alongside them they will exhibit the latest sneakers and trend-setting garments that are independent realities such as Dolly Noire, the urban clothing brand founded by 4 boys class of ’89 that, for the occasion, will dress the whole PLUG-Mi crew.
WHAT TO DO AND SEE IN PLUG-MI
The activities and guests of the first edition of PLUG-MI will be many and promise to be exciting. For the moment it is known that street artists, designers and well-known bloggers will alternate between workshops and talks that will frame the new products of the leading brands and the exclusive collections for the more experienced. Radio 105, radio partner, will then gather the best artists and performers of the rap and trap scene who will alternate in various exclusive live shows.
But it doesn’t end there. In fact, one of the protagonists of the event will be the main partner AW LAB. It is the trend laboratory that over the years has become the interpreter of this constantly changing metropolitan cultural movement. Inside the fair it will become a real hub, The Style Cube, where to conceive urban sport style, to host music performances and events designed to create value and make its visitors protagonists. Obviously it will be all social through the hastag #playwithstyle.
