Supreme is back with a new collaboration, this time with the luxury brand Burberry.
After the various previews and the official presentation that took place on Monday, the collection will finally be available on the 10th of March in Supreme stores and online at 17:00.
This partnership marks the closure of a circle because, as more passionate fans will remember, back in 1997 Supreme already created a series of box logos with a reference to the famous check pattern associated with Burberry. The fact that now the two brands officially worked together is a further demonstration of how the world of streetwear in general and Supreme in particular are now consolidated realities inside the fashion universe.
The capsule includes both casual clothing and classic Burberry silhouettes. Sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps and skate boards are combined with rugby polo shirts, shirts and trench coats. The materials vary from denim and cotton to leather and silk.
The gallery was not found!Supreme also used its typical marketing dynamics, to give even more hype to the collection. The two Crusher and 6-Panel hats will be released on a date yet to be defined and the leather and silk co-ordinates will only be available in the main Burberry’s boutiques located in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Jebbia’s brand will also release a set of Box Logo stickers to accompany the collaboration.
