On Thursday night, Kanye West premiered his new album Donda (inspired by his mother’s name) at a listening party at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and he seems to have not moved from the venue since.
Donda’s official release on streaming services was scheduled for the next day, but West, who unveiled his latest albums in a similar fashion, continued to make changes to the work by postponing the release date to August 6.
West was spotted by fans at an Atalanta United football match at the same stadium on Saturday, wearing what appeared to be the red padded suit and full face mask he had played at the album preview two days earlier.
A little later it was reported by his team that West will live at the Mercedes-Benz stadium until Donda is finished.
The rapper then created for himself and his staff a studio and accommodation space, with chef included, in the venue. West’s makeshift arrangement features a simple bed, television, and weights, all surrounded by his Yeezys.
Rumor has it that West has decided to upset plans after being inspired by the crowd present at the album presentation that prompted him to get back on track and set a new release date for August 6.
With Donda still on the move, the final tracklist remains somewhat unknown, so we just have to wait!
