In view of the Chinese New Year Dior and Stussy present the new capsule collection

It’s called ‘Year of the Ox’ and is the new capsule collection by Dior in collaboration with Stüssy.

The collection is completely inspired by the oriental tradition and the customs of the Chinese New Year. The latter, to be held on February 12, will celebrate the year of the Buffalo (hence the name of the capsule): for the occasion, the brands have recalled the buffalo topos with graphics and appliques scattered on all the garments.

Inside the buffalo, the graphics of both brands are indulged, such as the monogram designed by the two labels or the Dior lettering.

The capsule consists of a red varsity jacket, the highlight of the collection: the sober cut recalls the elegance of Dior, but it is in the design of the ox that we find all the streetwear of Stüssy. Inside the ox on the back, the Dior lettering is scattered everywhere.

In addition to the varsity, we find a hoodie, a white shirt, a t-shirt and a navy blue sweater: between side stripes and two-tone tees, we note that it is in the fantasy of the garment that you can see the street taste, while the minimal and elegant cut points out the presence of the house of Dior. The main colors are blue and red, on which heterochromies and various graphics are played.

There is no shortage of accessories and shoes. For the former, the category includes a scarf, a leather backpack, a tie and bracelets with the Dior x Stüssy logo.

But, perhaps the most important item, are the sneakers: the restyling of the B23 of the US brand gave life to the new B27. The sneakers, which feature the classic skate shoe silhouette, are embellished with Dior details. The white upper is perforated by the Dior lettering on the , while behind a flashy “Dior”, written with the Stüssy font, makes the collaboration clear and visible.
