The Swedish giant IKEA has announced its first capsule collection called “EFTERTRÄDA”.
The capsule consists of a t-shirt, a hoodie, an umbrella, a canvas bag, a set of beach towels and water bottles, characterized by the iconic blue and yellow logo of the brand.
Taking inspiration from home furnishings, IKEA has created a collection consisting of simple and everyday clothes. The first diffused images clearly refer to the city of Tokyo; the lookbook, which will soon be known, was shot in the real homes of some young people in the city, in which the “clean” design of the garments is highlighted.
Among the proposed items, the most interesting is certainly the ecological cotton hoodie, which has a large barcode printed on the front, accompanied by the model number that identifies the famous BILLY bookcase. To embellish it, the writing “Design and Quality IKEA of Sweden“; on the back, however, the IKEA logo is placed.
The IKEA “EFTERTRÄDA” capsule collection will be available for presale on July 31st on the IKEA Japan website. Prices have not yet been disclosed.
