Better Snow White or the Evil Queen? “Why choose when you can be both?”, Answers James Long, Creative Director of ICEBERG, who in his new Fall-Winter 2019 collection reinterprets one of the most famous fairy tales in an ironic and modern key.
Dresses and skirts with chiffon layers, in a play of white tones that overlap one another. The soft knitwear is combined with trousers of military inspiration, creating a unique contrast between the rigor of an aviator style and the lightness of the pleated fabric.
Graphics that mix floral prints with the distorted and pixellated ICEBERG logo, dresses with shiny / opaque shades that fascinate, telling the story of an enchanted garden.
Bondage details in the oversized parka, combined with knit panels with fairy-tale characters reveal Snow White’s journey after biting into the poisoned apple: precious contrasts, where multicolor studs become colored gems that recall the LED colors of a night-time metropolis.
Prints on chiffon are glossed in down jackets, for men and women, where nylon blends with knitwear thanks to the needle-punching technique: a perfect balance is born from the contrast of the two fabrics.
Even the Magic Mirror becomes the protagonist and comes to life thanks to the collaboration Linda Farrow x ICEBERG, for an eyewear collection that makes its debut directly on the catwalk. Silhouette inspired by cycling are reinvented thanks to the prints of the ICEBERG logo on the lenses in both technical and fashion finishes. Rubber details and strap make the Magic Mirror a true modern fairy tale.
