The Gucci Garden in Florence opens its doors to the public for “an immersion in the kaleidoscopic aesthetics of Alessandro Michele”.
As expected, the celebrations of the hundred years of the Gucci house continue. This time the festivities move to Florence: a magical journey into the universe of Gucci through the eyes of Alessandro Michele. A totally immersive 360 º experience plunges us into the creative mind. What lies behind the campaigns of the last six years of Gucci?
“I thought it might be interesting to accompany people to discover the adventures that characterized these first six years, inviting them to discover the imaginary, the narrative, the unpublished, the sparkle. So I created a playing field of emotions, which are the same as in the countryside, and they represent the most direct access to my aesthetics.“
Fifteen rooms reveal the most intimate and hidden secrets. The journey begins in a room where 30 screens intermittently reveal images of what awaits us in the next rooms. Enchanted gardens and landscapes alternate with dystopian installations, urban scenarios and mazes of mirrors: absurd and bizarre narrative spaces.
We don’t want to tell you more. A totally immersive and multi-sensory experience, a parallel world born from Gucci campaigns, not to be missed! Admission is free during the week, on public holidays it is possible to book the tour of the rooms through the e-mail address or telephone number. And for the less fortunate? The experience could only be digital, through a virtual tour, complete with audioguide. There is no excuse, let yourself be carried away by the intricate visionary thinking of Gucci and its creative director.
