After a year of spoilers and uncertainties Nike confesses the release date of the sneaker fruit of his collaboration with J Balvin. The long-awaited launch will be on December 8!
J Balvin is the first Latin artist to transform the design of the iconic Air Jordan 1. The sneaker has made some appearances in the singer’s Instagram profile for a few months now, but its launch on the market seemed to be a distant mirage.
This week Nike announced that the sneaker will be available from December 8 at specific retailers. Winning it will not be just a walk.
The artist really dared, playing and twisting the silhouette of the shoe. The edges are jagged, the canvas upper is colorful with a lively tie-dye pattern. The classic label of the visible foam tongue is replaced by the artist’s Happy logo. But it doesn’t end here, the sneaker is further customizable with the strings in three variables (white, black and pink) and small interchangeable velcro patches.
“I wanted to be the person who really dared to change the shapes and go all out. No one has touched the Air Jordan I like this before.”
What to say. The sneaker fully reflects the personality of the singer, the model hyper captivating brings in fact “color and vibrations” intense, not coincident with the names of the albums of 2020 and 2018.
If you love Latin culture and with the “caliente” soul this is definitely the model that makes you!
And you, will you wait anxiously for December 8th to get the go to the Christmas decorations without the judgment of Grinch or to buy your Latin sneaker?
