THE ALYSI BRAND OPENS THE EXHIBITION EXHIBITION COLOR: UNKNOWN
Fashion and art are two ways of communicating that are often related to each other. Alysi is one of the latest brands in the clothing industry to do so. In fact, with the COLOR: UNKNOWN project, the company has restructured its showroom in the Tortona Fashion District (famous for the White Show), inaugurating the exhibition on March 20th. It is «a series of events dedicated to curiosity, oriented to surprise and sensory observation.«
For these reasons, Alysi involved Sara Maragotto from Studio Fludd. The curator set up the exhibition at the Garden House of the brand. In fact, her contribution proved to be fundamental. Because it highlights the central theme of the project: «the enhancement of the peculiar characteristics of the female mind: the integration of contradictory aspects, the attitude to evolution and eclecticism, the complexity of emotions.»

RUTH VAN BEEK INAUGURATES THE FIRST EVENT
The brand, born in 1996, chose the Dutch artist Ruth Van Beek, known for her imagery of figures as ordinary as they are unpredictable and kaleidoscopic. In fact, Van Beek’s work is able to best interpret the heart of COLOR: UNKNOWN. Which is why she was asked to create «worlds completely reinvented through manipulation, cutting, folding, adding color fields and alienating elements.»
All this because, she started from the fashion house archive materials. On the other hand, the materiality of the color, the textures and the combination of materials, the sophisticated and at the same time ironic atmosphere are themes and practices typical of the Alysi collections.
The exhibition lasts three weeks and can be visited by appointment, at the Alysi Garden House in Via Tortona 12, from Monday to Friday. For information: alysi.it
