Work and shopping, duty and pleasure. One contributes to the existence of the other. The second makes the first one more bearable. And what is the common means by which both functions are expressed in life? The bag, or, as we say today, the shopper. And if purchases must be dealt with or work occupied, at least do so in a conscious way, perhaps bringing to the arm an accessory made of recycled materials, such as used truck tarpaulins, washed with the use of rain water. The project’s mind is, of course, Freitag and the product in question is the new it-bag F560 Sterling.
The capacity, just to give an idea of how many iPhone, Mac, lipsticks, books, documents and notepads can enter – without forgetting the house keys – is twelve liters. While the colors are typical of the Swiss brand: pomace, green, blue, red, gray and, of course, silver. Continuing on the aesthetic side, the shopping bag has a perfectly symmetrical structure. The invoice, the intrinsic quality is given by its composition, which gives the object a “guarantee of maximum balance and harmony”, explain from the fashion house.

The model was launched on May 24th this year, and is already promising to be a success. In reality, every Freitag proposal is accompanied by a great response from its customers, perhaps due to the company’s modus operandi, perhaps due to the very appeal of the models made. But there is another hypothesis: the growing discussion on environmental issues, the gravity of which induces (or should do) in the first place, the brands of the sector to restructure in an eco-sustainable perspective and, secondly, the people to buy items produced with an eye to these issues. For a world that is not only beautiful but also better.
