The artist “repairer” has also arrived in Italy. His canvases? Holes, roads, manholes and cracks.
How many times do we find holes, cracks or “empties” in the asphalt, abandoned to themselves, turning through the streets of magnificent cities? Ememem will take care of it. The artist with the unknown face of French origin, has left his signature in cities around the world with colorful mosaics: a real work of repair, but not only.

The technique used, a name coined by himself flacking and consists in repairing the defects of the urban landscape in a creative way, giving them an artistic value. The artist identifies a possible “victim” and studies a project around it, and then goes to fill it with small pieces of ceramic and recycled materials. Each work is different and unique. As fast as it may seem a technique and also quite simple, the creation of these small masterpieces takes a lot of time. From the study of the “void” to be filled, to the numerous hours of time required for the drying of the work, once finished. And as if that were not enough, the artist is forced to work at night or away from prying eyes, as to date operations of this kind are often considered as “vandalism”.
But nothing seems to stop it. From Paris and the French campaigns to our big cities: Rome, Turin, Genoa and Florence. Pay attention! From now on, every now and then, keep your head down and take a look at where you put your feet: you might run into a bad hole or with a bit of luck in a work by Ememem.
