This is Ohmai, a new entry in the field bags that provides accessories where the word “reversible” is the thread that characterizes them. Colors, prints, shapes and high-quality materials make all the rest, making it another distinctive feature.

When and why did you decide to found Ohmai?
The Ohmai brand stems from the production and employment of the workers of a company that works labels, woven leather and tags, which has to deal with a crisis in the textile sector. The drop in orders and closing of prestigious companies that until then had assets of Etigroup, are the harsh reality to face. That is why the search for a new product that would accommodate the techniques of processing and printing and knowledge of raw materials; all these factors led to the creation of Ohmai bags.
What is the added value of your bags?
The added value is the reversibility. Until that time no one suggested although the concept had long existed. We have made it modern by combining a fashion side and a more sober so that the use of the bag could actually be different.
Your distinctive feature is the reversibility. How can you, season after season, renew it in the look?
We apply the latest fashion trends to our product without distorting it. The appearance of the reversibility is still a new concept and this allows us some breath for few more season. Big brands have entered similar bags in their collections, but our real strength is made in Italy. Style and craftsmanship have an appeal that no foreign product can match. Another strong point is that every fantasy is original, created by us.
What is Ohmai position on the market?
We are positioned on a medium-high level. Our bags are inserted in clothing boutique who use the bag as a critical piece to match their outfits.
What kind of woman are turning your creations?
Ohmai women cross because of the characteristic of the bag. From adolescent to young lady, dynamic and attentive to the look, the one that comes out in the morning to go to work by choosing one side of the bag and in the evening, and with a simple gesture, uses the same on the other side to social occasions like a evening with friends.
Future projects?
The future will have collaborations: capsules with emerging designers and the product will also evolve towards a more easy look without losing the brand’s mood.
