Louis Vuitton opened an exclusive pop-up store in the Tessabit spaces at Villa d’Este on Lake Como, open until 25 October.

Villa d’Este in Cernobbio is a renowned hotel as well as a Sixteenth-century villa immersed in the breathtaking setting of Lake Como, among about ten hectares and works of art created by the Canova school. In this magical green space and a mirrored landscape, Louis Vuitton has opened an unprecedented store, far from the visionary architecture that we have been used to seeing with Milan, in the Rinascente, as well as in Los Angeles, at Rodeo Drive. The new pop-up is an architectural structure that goes beyond the luxurious shopping space: it’s a journey into nature, between elegance and relax.

The location of the store is declined by a warm bright yellow color in the outdoor facades, while the interiors are peach and sky blue, to divide the women’s area from the men’s collections; a soft and relaxed atmosphere with a touch of wood on the shelves and benches arranged inside in contrast with the spaces’s organic fabrics.

The pop-up includes the latest women’s ready-to-wear collections designed by Nicolas Ghesquière and menswear collections by Virgil Abloh. These comprised By the Pool, Energetic Sportwear, as well as several partnerships. For instance, the NBA, the National Basketball Association, a capsule of casual clothes designed for travelers, such as shorts, sweatshirts and jackets embroidered with multicolored graphics inspired by the game, such as Objets Nomades, in collaboration with international artists for the creation of objects and handcrafted furniture.
